About Sand Dune Bashing

Real desert operations, not just a booking page

Our desert experience is built around an operating base in Al Badayer, supported by a team working directly with desert safari vehicles, dune buggies, quad bikes, camel activities and camp guests. The person who answers your message is part of that operation, not a reseller passing your booking down a chain.

DTCM-approved tourism operation

Your tours are managed through an established, legally registered tourism operation rather than an anonymous reseller. Sand Dune Bashing is operated by BNB Travel & Tours L.L.C., a DTCM-approved tour operator that has been running desert tourism since 2010.

Experienced desert team

Our team includes camp management, guides, activity specialists and booking staff, with team experience extending beyond a decade for several key members. Drivers and guides manage the 4x4 dune-bashing experience; marshals and activity staff handle the self-drive buggy and quad sessions.

One main desert base

We specialise in the Al Badayer / Big Red area instead of pretending to operate every desert in the UAE. One base gives our guides, support teams, vehicles and camp staff direct familiarity with the terrain we work every day.

Maintained adventure fleet

• 4x4 desert safari vehicles with seat belts for every passenger
• Polaris RZR 1000cc and Can-Am Maverick dune buggies, including the Maverick R X RS
• 620cc quad bikes and the Yamaha Raptor 700cc
• Helmets, goggles and protective equipment for all self-drive activities
• Camel riding, sandboarding and camp facilities at the Al Badayer base

Support before and during the tour

From selecting the right package to on-site briefings and guide support, customers have a real team to contact. If something goes wrong on your tour, email us with the date and the driver's name and we will deal with it ourselves.

What we will not do

• Publish invented guest reviews or star ratings on our own website.
• Claim to operate desert areas we do not run.
• Take a pregnant guest, or a guest with a condition that makes it unsafe, through the dunes.
• Put an untrained driver in a vehicle with your family in it.
