Where we operate

Our dune bashing Dubai location is Al Badayer Desert, home of the famous Big Red dune area in the Emirate of Sharjah. Although visitors commonly search for “Dubai dune bashing” and travel from Dubai hotels, the actual desert base is at Al Badayer, Sharjah, beside the Dubai–Hatta Road (E44).

We do not run the main experience at Lahbab, Margham, Al Faya or Al Qudra. One base, worked every day, is the whole point.

Getting there from Dubai

You do not need to make your own way there. Hotel pickup and drop-off is included on several packages, and the transfer is part of the tour. For reference, Al Badayer sits on the Dubai–Hatta Road (E44), east of Dubai toward Hatta.

Pickup is commonly arranged from Downtown Dubai, Business Bay, Dubai Marina, JBR, Palm Jumeirah, Deira, Bur Dubai, Al Barsha and JLT. Staying somewhere else? Send us your location and we will confirm availability and any applicable charge.

Why one desert base

Al Badayer's open red-sand terrain is why we keep our desert activity operation here rather than moving guests between unrelated desert locations. One base gives our guides, support teams, vehicles and camp staff direct familiarity with the terrain we operate every day — which matters far more on soft sand than it does on tarmac.

Driving yourself

If you are in a rental car, do not enter the dunes. Rental agreements in the UAE almost always exclude off-road use, and a road-biased vehicle will get stuck within metres of leaving firm ground. Book a transfer, or arrive at the camp by road and let our team handle the sand.
